I did not know Mila well, but over the last few decades, we would often see each other at the ODNetwork conference. When we would get a chance to talk, she always impressed me as a really good person and a very solid OD professional. I always assumed she was considerably younger. I was very disturbed to learn of her sudden passing. She seemed to be a very real and genuine human being.

I am so sorry to hear this news. Mila and I intersected as UUs at the World Bank and then as UU academics who had been at the World Bank. Her family and faith were extremely important to her. May her memory be a blessing to us all.

Mila and I had short interactions over the years. Intelligent, calm, always in a place of contributing, it's clear that those short meetings were glimpses of her in the length and breadth of her life. Rest in the path of that good life Mila.

Billy Moore-Mila was my first cousin we grew up as kids together in Cincinnati, Ohio. We both attended CSU but Mila did not come back to the school after our second year which was 1963 so I have not seen her since then but remained in contact with her by Email over the years. When people move families loose contact with one another this happened to our family. Her sister Liz and brother Joe Elwood I've not seen in years but have contact by phone and Email with Liz. I loved her dearly as a child she was quiet but loads of fun to be with and as an adult in college the same applied.

Mila! You were a gift to me and I will miss hearing your voice and that wonderful laugh. Our annual meeting at AOM will no longer be the same. Gone too soon but a legacy that will endure. Thank you for touching me and the so many other lives you have touched with your presence. I will remember you! - Jules

I am shocked, surprised and saddened by this news. In my humble opinion, Mila was one to the best of the best - both as a person and a professional. I will really miss her.

It was very difficult hearing this news. I will remember Mila as the gracious, thoughtful and loving soul that she was.

A deep and sensitive spirit, Mila brought so much to those she touched, and she touched so many! My heart goes out to her husband and family, whom she loved so deeply. She has been a colleague of mine for over 15 years, first on the board of the Organization Design Forum, and later, as a friend and thought-partner on different topics and issues. She had a rare and precious combination of high energy, warmth, creativity, critical thinking and intuitive connection. I often got the sense that Mila knew there was so little time to do all she was here to do. You did more than enough, Mila. Thank you.

A great soul has left our earthly world. Her grand legacy will remain to continue to uplift those of us still here. Rest well, Mila. You contributed so much to us all.

I had only a few glimpse of Mila at ODN Conference. She came across as a graceful, brilliant, and deeply compassionate person. She left a lasting impression and great inspiration. May Mila enjoy the eternal peace. Offer my prayers and condolance to the grieving family. Tom Thakady
